  • Define policy and procedures to protect our workforce and others, and provide all the necessary resources for its effective implementation 

  • Fulfil and, where appropriate, exceed any compliance obligations associated with our business & our customers’ requirements 

  • Identify, train, and use competent resources to deliver our services, and allocate health and safety responsibilities to people who have the necessary skills 

  • Promote a positive, just, and strong health and safety culture based on active and visible leadership and mutual trust, innovation, and pride, actively encouraging the input of employees and others 

  • Identify and assess the health and safety hazards, impacts, and risks from our activities and services, and put in place safe systems of work and controls that seek to eliminate or mitigate those risks

  • Set objectives and targets that seek continuous improvement, and set annual plans to target specific risks based on a review of our progress

  • We will put in place a robust system of assurance, with emphasis on proactive audits, inspections, surveys, and observations, and regularly review our oversight of corrective actions

  • Investigate and report on incidents to identify areas for improvement. We will carry out investigations in a fair and just manner

  • Monitor, review and report our performance, measured against set objectives and targets

  • Regularly review the suitability and effectiveness of our systems and identify improvements we need to make to our procedures to achieve continual improvement. 

We will put this policy into practice by creating a just and strong culture that actively encourages good health and safety practices and by applying effective policies, standards, systems, and processes.   

We will ensure that this policy is cascaded and communicated to employees throughout our business and is available upon request for interested parties.
